We've all heard "financial literacy," but what does it mean? To Mary's Place volunteer Andrea Linsky, it means the tools to have healthy finances, and she believes it's an essential skill everyone should have the opportunity to learn!

From basic wellness and developmental health to coordinating the complex care of a medically fragile child, nurse Tricia Nora and the Health Care Team at Mary’s Place connect families to the health services they need and provide support while they’re in shelter. 

Little did Val know that nearly a decade later, she and her circle of friends and family would contribute more than 100 purses and backpacks annually, stuffed with essentials and feel-good items for women who visit the Day Center, a drop-in center for women in downtown Seattle

A third grader at Arbor Montessori. in Sammamish, Emily Moore knows how to rally support and spread a message!

Victoria Mikael of Pearl Moon Writer’s Collective has worked with writers and artists around the globe, helping them share their stories and find an outlet through words. For the past year, she facilitated a writing circle for guests at the Mary’s Place Women’s Day Center.

I’m excited to share that I have accepted the permanent Chief Executive Officer role at Mary's Place. It is truly an honor and privilege to be the leader of this incredible organization.
